Activity 1: I Am Me
Participants take the front of the room to share personal information, fostering confidence and self-esteem.
Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How to Capture Attention
Discussion on the importance of implying and delivering ideas that aim to influence, inspire, and engage.
Activity 2: The Blind Guide
Three participants from each group attempt to build a tower using LEGO or building blocks with alternating colors. Two participants are blindfolded, while one remains sighted as the team captain, providing verbal instructions. One blindfolded participant constructs the tower, while the other relays the captain’s instructions.
Synthesis Session
Summary and discussion on the key takeaways from the previous session.
Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure
Overview of public speaking structures, preparation techniques, and key delivery considerations.
Activity 3: My Crazy Story
Participant groups collaborate to create a story based on a single source topic.
Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech
Focused session on structuring speech content, identifying effective delivery strategies, and personal preparation.
Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery
Participants are assigned one of the following topics for a discussion lasting 5 to 10 minutes.
