• Boost the volume of work items completed within a given timeframe.
• Shorten the duration required to finish work items.
• Enhance work predictability (providing more accurate responses to "When will it be completed?").
• Manage key flow metrics, including throughput, lead time, work in progress, and work item age.
• Utilize flow charting tools such as the Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, and Work Aging Chart.
• Apply statistical forecasting techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreements.
• Design a Kanban System using a structured approach (STATIK).
• Comprehend Little's Law, which elucidates the nature of value flow.

This two-day course is tailored to assist teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) in operating effectively in an Agile environment by leveraging frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Participants will gain insights into functioning as Agile Teams, managing backlogs, and successfully planning and executing iterations. The course also highlights the team's role within the ART and emphasizes collaboration, planning, execution, and continuous improvement with other teams.

Training prepares teams to engage in a Program Increment (PI), covering both Team-level and Program-level events, with special emphasis on upcoming PI planning sessions. Completing the course also readies participants for the certification exam to become a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Apply SAFe principles to scale Lean and Agile practices across the organization.
• Comprehend their team’s role within the Agile Release Train and its contribution to overall objectives.
• Identify other teams within the train, including their roles and interdependencies.
