- Understanding Task Constraints and Deadlines.
- The Critical Path: Identification, analysis, and techniques to shorten it.
- Managing leads, lags, and float time.
Day 2: Resources, Costs, and Tracking
• Module 1: Resource Management
- Defining resources: Labor, Material, and Cost categories.
- Managing availability, rate tables, and variable costs.
- Assigning resources and resolving over-allocations (workload balancing).
• Module 2: Financial Control
- Inputting fixed costs and one-time expenses.
- Analyzing project, task, and resource costs.
• Module 3: Tracking & Reporting
- The Baseline: Setting and saving the project plan.
- Analyzing deviations and changes in the project.
- Earned Value Analysis: Measuring project performance.
- Generating standard and custom reports for stakeholders.
