This course is divided into two complementary modules: a theoretical foundation and a practical application phase. The initial one-day theoretical session covers the motivation, core philosophy, fundamental principles, and operational rules of the SIP protocol, along with its application in telecom services, with a specific emphasis on IP telephony and VoIP. The subsequent two-day practical module allows participants to gain hands-on experience in service operations through laboratory exercises. These exercises provide detailed insights into configuring SIP telephony architecture components, analyzing SIP signaling at both message sequence chart and internal message structure levels, and addressing common issues such as security vulnerabilities and telecom fraud. Trainers will share their extensive experience in deploying, operating, and managing SIP telephony, including virtualization and cloud-based solutions. The practical component utilizes both SIP hardware phones and softphones, alongside IP telephony servers like Asterisk and FreeSWITCH. Participants are encouraged to leverage the trainers' rich technical and business expertise by submitting their own challenges and questions, which will be integrated into the wrap-up session to address urgent client needs. This training is designed for individuals with foundational knowledge and experience in telecom services, specifically VoIP and IP networking.
