- Introduction to an initial R session
- Syntax for analyzing one-dimensional data arrays
- Syntax for analyzing two-dimensional data arrays
- Techniques for reading and writing data files
- Sub-setting data, along with sorting, ranking, and ordering data
- Merging arrays
- Concepts of set membership
- Key statistical functions in R
- The Normal Distribution, including correlation, probabilities, normality tests, and confidence intervals
- Ordinary Least Squares Regression
- T-tests, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Multivariable Analysis of Variance
- Chi-square tests for categorical variables
- Writing custom functions in R
- Developing software (scripts) in R
- Control structures, such as loops
- Graphical methods, encompassing scatterplots, bar charts, pie charts, histograms, box plots, and dot charts
- Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for R
